Chief Operating Officer
Stuart’s Opera House (SOH), a growing, mission-driven, non-profit organization located in Nelsonville, Ohio is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO). Having recently completed a 5 million dollar capital renovation project, SOH is positioned for significant growth. The COO will be an integral member of the senior management team and will work to support the mission of SOH. The COO will be responsible for the continued development, refinement, and oversight of SOH’s financial management strategy and strategic goals while developing and implementing more sophisticated policies and procedures in the finance, fundraising, staff management, and HR realms.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position that will remain open until the right candidate is recruited. The compensation is commensurate with qualifications, in the range of $50-60K/year, with comprehensive benefits offered upon hire.

Required Qualifications:
- College degree required. In lieu of a degree, extensive relevant experience considered.
- Experience with QuickBooks required.
- Minimum two years in a senior management role, management experience in non-profit sector preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Events & Box Office Manager
Events and box office manager needed for a progressive, non-profit arts organization in Nelsonville, Ohio. The manager will be responsible for scheduling and managing events and venue rentals, along with the necessary staff/volunteers for those events. In addition, the manager will work to promote the venue during trade shows, meetings with prospective clients, and more. The candidate will also oversee box office management for the organization, including generating and scheduling volunteers as needed, along with overseeing hospitality management during events.
This is a full-time, direct-hire position starting as soon as the right candidate is found. The candidate MUST be available to work any and all events, as this position involves non-traditional hours including evening and weekend hours. The pay rate is commensurate with qualifications within the range of $28K-33K/year, and this organization offers comprehensive benefits.

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years of box office or event planning experience is preferred, but training can be extended to promising candidates.
- Successful candidates will be self-motivated, creative individuals seeking to build long-term relationships, and will find additional opportunities to grow their responsibilities within the organization.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to multi-task will be prioritized. Strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to relate to a diverse population is required.
