Merging powerful, smoky vocals with her unique take on R & B pop and alternative neo-soul, Minneapolis-bred artist, Caroline Smith, crafts her timeless songwriting around soaring melodies and unabashedly honest lyricism. With the timeless soul of her songs, Smith conjures up well-deserved comparisons to classic artists such as Carole King, Aretha Franklin, and TLC. Smith built a strong following as her indie-rock outfit, Caroline Smith & The Good Night Sleeps, independently touring the country and creating a loyal fan-base through self-promoted and self-booked tours. In 2013, she released her acclaimed solo debut Half About Being a Woman earning praise for its unique production and advanced songwriting. Caroline is currently working on her second album in Minneapolis and Los Angeles.
