This free event is a part of Old Time Music Week, presented by our Arts Education Department. Click here to learn more.

We’re leaving the opera house for the final night of Old Time Music Week! Join us for a free show featuring foot stompin’ and hip shakin’ performances form Old Time Kentucky bands The Possum Queens and The New Beckham Ramblers.

A portion of proceeds from the evening will go toward the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky Crisis Fund which supports those effected by the recent devastating floods in Eastern Kentucky.

The Possum Queens

Old-time fiddle tunes and bluesy songs from four strong women who met in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky’s North Side!

The New Beckham Ramblers

The New Beckham County Ramblers were founded in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Morehead Kentucky. Drawing influence from old-time music, bluegrass, and delta blues The New Beckham County Ramblers do not stray far from their upbringing in Kentucky, and southern Ohio.
