Sean Rowe is an alternative folk singer-songwriter and musician from Troy, New York.

Rowe spent many of his formative summers in DeLand, Florida—a small town between Orlando and Daytona Beach—where his father was a residential caretaker at a home for troubled youths. There, Sean taught himself to play drums and then bass.

During those same years, Rowe was inspired by heavy metal and naturalism, spending much of his youth in the woods, exploring and foraging. Since then, his fascination with the subject has only grown and is now a part of a new web-series, Can I Eat This?.

Over the course of his career, Sean Rowe has recorded five full-length albums (including one funded by Kickstarter) and two EPs. His music has been used in film and television, including NBC’s dramas The Blacklist and Parenthood, and Ben Affleck’s The Accountant.
