Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville is hosting an art opening for “Positive Light,” described as a photographic exhibition of life’s brighter side featuring the work of local photographers John Halley, Wendy Minor Viny and Joel Prince.

The opening takes place in the Stuart’s Grand Lobby this Thursday, Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m. The show will remain up at Stuart’s until March 22, 2019.

According to the news release, “The three photographers living in Appalachia Ohio share what they find inspiring and uplifting about the place they call home.” Admission is free. For more information call 740-753-1924 or visit www.stuartsoperahouse.org.
