Get ready to hoot 'n holler, stomp your feet, and Get ready to hoot 'n holler, stomp your feet, and maybe even jump up and dance tonight as Old Time Music Week continues with a free performance at 7 pm in our historic theatre from The Hollertones String Band. Each with a lifetime of musical experience, Jeanie Creamer (guitar, vocals), Linda Scutt (fiddle, mandolin, vocals), Paul Brown (banjo, fiddle, vocals) and Nick Weiland (bass, vocals) join forces to create a unique Old-Time sound that is innovative yet respectful of tradition.
We are so excited to welcome Adam Remnant as Stuar We are so excited to welcome Adam Remnant as Stuart's Assistant Director of Arts Education. A longtime friend of Stuart's, Adam has been leading our Afterschool Music Program (AMP) along with our Afterschool Audio Production Program since their inception. See Adam's hard work in action on Saturday, September 3rd at @nelsonvillefest during the AMP band showcase.

It’s been an incredible few days of skillful performances, immersive learning experiences, and even some square dancing. Enjoy some music with us today at our 2 FREE Old Time concerts: John Harrod and Tona Barkley at 1 pm in our grand lobby, and Jesse Milnes at 7 pm in our historic theatre.

The duo, inspired by the enduring spirit of traditional Appalachian mountain music bridge the sometimes distant worlds of bluegrass and old time music together into a fresh and distinctive blend.

It’s not every day the symphony comes to summer It’s not every day the symphony comes to summer camp! Thank you to our friends at the @columbussymphony for visiting yesterday and teaching our young artists about classical music.
